To the best of my understanding: Jefferey is guaranteed almost as much as Foles for 2020. There is an out in 2021 in the Foles contract which would still result in a $12M+ cap hit. Foles could also restructure. Jacksonville is strapped by the Foles contract and thin at WR. This may afford them the opportunity to pursue some limited options and retain players otherwise slated for jettison. I do not have all of the details on the contracts and whether or not this is doable.* I am just thinking out loud.I wish the accumulated LTBE bonus credits were still in effect. Carson Wentz is the most important player on this team, and having Ertz there as his security blanket and best friend is more important than a long term answer at a position like safety. Their top 3 were more productive than Alshon, their #4 Keelan Cole has shown promise in the past, sgnbd they still have Marquise Lee under contract Also a Foles trade makes no sense for us, especially when this is a strong free agent class of backup options at QB that won't cost Foles money. I doubt Ruggs will be there, so throw in Shenault there, or we gave up the Foles Comp to move up. Any other Comp picks we might get throw in some OL or other CBs..see what sticks. a "the fanbase storms novacare for not taking a rd1or2 WR" draft. We take Jack Driscoll (OT) with the Foles pick. by staying put or maybe moving back a bit.
