Yeah I’d imagine he’ll be familiar with him by week 1.

Yeah Eli hasn't looked like he was familiar with him the last few seasons but he was still productive when healthy. I don't see any issues with that connection here.

looks like jermaine whitehead is killing it, kalis still at 1st team RG (im not so upset with this, kalis and robinson work with lcb in the offseason), and greedy with the 1s

Careful, Myles.  Current Browns sack record for a season is held by... Reggie Camp.

Eh dunno how I feel about that.

Is this common amongst other teams?  Can’t say I’ve ever paid attention to kick coverage personnel of opponents

Kalis already repping with the 1s to me seems like a serious indictment of Corbett. I would have thought he would at least have been inked into that spot heading into training camp, and maybe someone would’ve made a push to take it from him then. I don’t know. We’ll see.

I said it recently but Whitehead being a guy that our front office likes should not be a surprise to people given the connection there. Someone surprising is going to get snipped from that safety room.

Damarious Randall trade, Eric Murray cut, Josh Jones trade for late round.

tl;dr get Trainer 🤬ing Josh Jones for next to nothing.

i dont know.  i dont htink its an indictment of corbett.  LeCharles doesnt work with just anyone in the offseason and Kalis is one of the people he works with.  maybe we just hit another gem out of the park in Kalis

I’d sure like to think that’s the case. I just think that it is a bit alarming for the 33rd pick of the draft to go into the off-season of year two without a leg up at a position that was vacated. I am hoping that your scenario is closer to reality than what I am thinking.

Corbett was getting work at center. Don't know for a fact, but cross training might be more to do with Corbett's snaps than any sort of failure.
