I would have thought he would at least have been inked into that spot heading into training camp, and maybe someone would’ve made a push to take it from him then. I don’t know. We’ll see. I said it recently but Whitehead being a guy that our front office likes should not be a surprise to people given the connection there. I just think that it is a bit alarming for the 33rd pick of the draft to go into the off-season of year two without a leg up at a position that was vacated.
