Hunter Henry is the Danario Alexander of Tight Ends. Oh well this just likely means a sooner appearance of Antonio “Methuselah” Gates with his blinding speed making NFL defenders look like statues.

I can’t wait for him to inexplicably be wide open by 15 yards on his first catch of the season.

Christ. Walking wounded over there.

Has he had a full season yet?

Nope. Closest was his rookie season where he missed one game due to a knee injury. In 2017 he missed the last two games of the season due to a lacerated spleen from a blind side block. Would love to have the durability of the first two seasons again if that means anything.

Is it fair to call Hunter Henry a bit "injury prone" at this point?

Neither he, nor the Chargers in general seem to be able to catch a break at this point...other than their players getting broken i guess.  So weird too, since it's not all just like soft tissue injuries that you'd think could even have anything to do with medical staff or environmental factors.  Just truly terrible luck apparently.

Feel like Henry is going to fall in line with a guy like Tyler Eifert...always wondering what could have been.

For some reason, it feels like Eifert has managed more healthy-ish seasons than Henry...but he really hasn't.  Weird mental artifact.
