He just reported so disregard lol

Smart move by him. Now, he guarantees he'll be able to be  Free Agent and choose his next team. He was always going to report.

I wouldn't be surprised if he goes out to practice and comes down with an Injured hamstring or something else where he could still accumulate time but never have to suit up for Washington. He might also just grit and bear it by playing in a few weeks just with knowledge that soon he'll be free as long as he remains healthy.

He’s got one year left after this season but his value should be lower since he’ll only have one year left

That's also his way of sticking it to the Redskins - give them a lesser return in a trade.

So Dorsey, after all this is said and done, wasn't dense enough to get suckered by Snyder..........

Well done, big man

Washington goofed this one imo.

This situation is only going to fester tbh, why they’re going to let this seep even further into the locker room is beyond me.

Agreed - they used Trent as nothing more than a pawn. And it backfired on them. They held tight to the belief that someone could be suckered. Turns out everyone was on to Danny Boy's game.

From what I’ve read it almost sounds personal between Trent and Bruce Allen.

Bruce wasn’t gonna deal him at all, and when he finally “relented” it was for an absurd price (Denzel Ward was rumored as a target).

It’s also a message from Dorsey to the coaching staff. That message being there is enough talent on this roster to win. So now you need to go out and do it

We could have a team of 10 all pros and go 8-8. The problem isnt a single player, it is the coaching.

It's everything. poor discipline at times. Bad coaching at times. Bad officiating at times. Poor performance at times.

The head coach is inevitably responsible for everything but that doesn't mean everything is in his control. If Chubb didn't have his first fumble returned for a TD and finished his big run with a score instead of a fumble we're looking at a 20-20 game. Not saying it would end like that but those were the turning point in the game. We've got easier games the rest of the year and it will look like coaching is better because we should be able to overcome some mistakes and take advantage.

That said, have 3 offensive linemen in the bottom 5 at their position certainly makes an impact.
