NateDawg
I’m surprised by the number of fans wiling to give up a 2nd for a 31 YOA injury prone LT, when we’re in the middle of a 2-5 season. I will be extremely upset if we give up a 2nd for Trent. If he’s healthy, you might get 2-3 good full seasons out of him. Like, what are we doing. nugpimpen
2nd rounder is the absolute max I'd even consider as not a horrible trade. I really want nothing to do with it. The window is not one year, dont panic and waste good long term assets.

LETSGOBROWNIES
Is there framework for an extension in place? How long does Williams want to play? What’s the compensation? If we have an extension in place and Williams wants to play another 3-5 years, I’m fine with a 2 I suppose. Otherwise, no, I’m not. Williams doesn’t have to be our LT for the next decade, but he can’t be a 20 game rental. Not for a 2.

DawgX
If Williams plays for another three years or so at a relatively high level, a 2 would probably be worth it. It would suck to give up a pretty valuable asset, but if adding Trent meant stabilizing our OL and protecting our young QB for the next few years, then I'd say it's worth it.

Maybe make the pick incentive laiden (sp) laden? 🤷🏼♂️ Based on playing time.

NateDawg
I wouldn’t even negotiate with Washington out of principle if that’s what they came to me with.
