That show started out really strong and then got worse and worse and worse and worse until I couldn't even watch it anymore. After that there’s just usually not enough story there to keep going without things getting absurd and the need to escalate conflict means that going much longer than that and your audience kind of just becomes desensitized to whatever stakes you can throw at them while keeping their initial suspension of disbelief intact. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It had its moments and did get off to a bit of a slow start, but once some of the characters not named Penny were getting into relationships, that's when it jumped the shark because it got unrealistic.
