The Hall of Fame will lose all credibility if they put Eli in.

But he IS going in. You understand that, right?  I wouldn't say I've made peace with it yet, and I don't know if I ever will. But he's going in.

Did you see them making his case tonight? They had to compare his numbers to dudes that played, like, before electricity was discovered.

You clearly haven't seen some of the players who have made it in.

It's Hall of Fame, not Hall of Statistical Winners.

Eli never revolutionized the game, he never won MVP, he had like one season where he was a top 10 QB. He doesn't even have a winning record as a starter.

Take away his last name and he's Jim Plunkett.

But he kept the Pats from going undefeated.

Do you really need anything more?

I don't even think a player NEEDS any of those things (okay, a winning record as a QB these days would be preferred).

But he was NEVER considered the best QB in the league for any single season, and honestly was never really in the top 5. He threw a TON of picks, and his plays contributed SIGNIFICANTLY to several lackluster seasons for the Giants. For the balance of his career, he was a good quarterback that had a couple brief moments of greatness, but also had some long stretches of mediocre-to-bad play.

The Eagles suck, Eli played ok, and we lost. We are creeping closer to never having to see Pat Shurmur's stupid face again and having a goddamn predator on our defense.

Nahh, go beat Miami and Washington to take yourselves out of the #1 pick.🙏
