If BB was molding him to be a HC somewhere else you can pretty much stick a fork in this dude's career.

BB seems like he would tell them all how to do it, but really he was telling them all the wrong things so when they left his team to become head coaches he would still beat their teams.

I thought Joe Judge was a nickname of some other well known head coaching candidate and I was just unaware of the nickname.

You learn new things all the time.

Anyway, I don't know. We will see how it goes. I really don't know anything about him to pass an initial judgment on the hire. Seems out of nowhere, I mean, I didn't even hear about this guy as a HC candidate, but that doesn't make it a bad thing.

People will jump in and probably laugh at this hire because he's an unkown, like they usually do, but in reality no one knows how this will go. He could just as easily succeed as he could fail (although i'm betting most people will come in and blindly predict the latter)

You don't need to know how it's going to know to think it's funny that when a team takes a complete shot in the dark when they're hiring for one of the most 32 coveted, well-payed positions in all of football.

If my dog got named to be the captain of the next spaceshuttle, it might go well or it might not, but you don't need to know that in advance to know that NASA passed over some more qualified, known quantity candidates.

Wow. This is an absolute fail. Gettleman must have thought Daniel Jones was working out too well.

Based on what, though?

Every year on this forum, people call the relatively unknown hires out as failures, and always get behind the big-time, well-known coordinator hires.

You would think by now people would have learned that a big name a good coach does not make.
