Tugboat
Whatever the biggest contract in history is, and then a nice bonus cushion on top of that.
DerbyRam
I think it will be roughly $45m a year over 6 years, guaranteed money over $250m over the course of his contract. I'd imagine something like that.

I'd imagine something like that. He will never get $245M Guaranteed, Never! He might play out the entire contract and earn all if that plus, but not in guarantees! The rest of the numbers are probably on point though with the Rediculous salaries unfolding. This isn't MLB, No Club can' Guarantee entire Contract of that proportion. There are Way more Injuries in the NFL then the other two Major Sports. Edited January 13, 2020 by Nabbs4u
raidersedge
It will probably be around $40 million a year. I'll say $42.

Even worse, he has two agents, his agent agent and his Allstate agent
Mox
Best bet for KC would be some long term deal that seems obscene now but by the time it's half over looks much better. Who knows what he wants though. Edited January 13, 2020 by Bullet Club
RedGold
I'm sure they have a pretty good idea on how much the next CBA is going to increase... Get the man signed before Watson,,, regardless he can have whatever he asks for.

Leoric
Just wait till he gets the ring. Whatever the cap is multiply that by 2 and that’s what he’s worth. Chiefs can give him 40m per and it’s still a deal for them.
blizofoz45
The Chiefs should line him up a with few side businesses like the Patriots did with Brady. Then they can buy Mahomes brand drinking straws from him for $1500 per straw.

Dak has led his team to 77 points in 3 playoff games. Deshaun Watson has led his team to 60 points in 3 playoff games. Goff has led his team to 72 points in 4 playoff games. Lamar Jackson has led his team to 29 points in 2 playoff games. Those guys all got or will get in the low to mid 30s. I expect Mahomes to break 40. Tbf the main difference between the Chiefs and Texans is not Mahomes vs. Watson
