Madridista
Love this! Thought for sure he was a goner
NinerNation21
This makes me happy. I haven't seen any details on the deal yet, but I'm willing to bet it's contigent upon him being healthy and how much he plays this season. I wish it was a 2-year deal with a club option for year 2, but regardless, I'm happy he's back. Amazing depth piece retained.
Forge
Yay! I would have preferred a 2 year deal, if only because I'm not sure how much we will get from him this year, but this is probably in Blair's best interest if he believes he will come back strong. I believe he will start on the PUP list was the talk, but he's already running and everything, so that is a good sign.
NinerNation21
This is the second player that we benefitted from the travel ban. Wouldn't be surprised if Damontre Moore will be in a similar boat. I hate thinking about the team benefitting from the pandemic, but they're saving millions on these guys because they can't visit other teams.

GW21
I see this as Blair betting on himself. I could see him being one of our interior guys in nickel. I also wish this was a multi-year deal. Sounds like he is betting on himself and we may lose out on him after next year.
DTMW78
Pulling for this kid, hope he does well when he gets back and earns a nice deal for himself.
sherm
Nice. Let's keep that depth.
uk9erfan
Really happy we retained him but like Forge would have preferred a two year deal. If he has a great year this coming season, he may be given offers we can't match.
757-NINER
He was never going to sign for 2 years. He was always going to try to recover from his injury and rehab his value for the 2021 free agency. He would have been foolish to do other wise. It just makes more sense to do it at a place and in a scheme you have familiarity with. With coaches you know can put you in the best position to maximize your value next off-season.
oldman9er
Glad he's back. Like everyone, am eager to see the cap cost this season, but not worried.
