Back 7 in Madden is virtually meaningless. You could have all 99-rated defensive backs in simulation and still have a nobody QB pass for 450/4/0. The only thing on defense that matters is pass rush. IDL with strong pass rush moves is less effective than an EDGE, but you gotta have at least one EDGE with about 85 overall. You'll be fine since you nailed the Niners lines, but that was luck. MacReady Posted April 11, 2020 Share Posted April 11, 2020 I'm a little weak at EDGE, but the offensive line HOPEFULLY overcomes that. Fletcher Cox and Brandon Graham hopefully bail me out. Only thing I'm second guessing right now is Eagles over Saints. I'll be alright though. @bcb1213, please give me Falcons scheme and playbook on offense, attacking 4-3 on defense. Otherwise you're absolutely right. The problem for you is that this is a SIMULATION. When simulating, offensive lines DO matter. They effect running totals as well as number of sacks and have a direct correlation to offensive totals. Additionally, having two elite receivers is more likely to HARM your offense in a simulation than significantly help it.
