This is true, but you need a good offensive line whether you run or pass.

We had a great offensive line and went to the Superbowl. The next season it was weak and we missed the playoffs. I honestly believe it's a simple as that.

Noteboom coming back ( if he's 100 percent) is going to be more of an immediate impact than anyone we can draft. I get it, but we still had an explosive offense last year.

We don't know that? lmao yeah we mock draft these guys for 4 months and we assume that's where they should go, but the real people who make decisions decide otherwise.

Thats why paying so much attention to mocks can be a bad thing. We assume because mocks say certain guys will go earlier or later that its where they will go so if a team take him at a certain spot its a reach or a steal. We dont know what the real people making the decisions are thinking. So you are exactly right about that.

The line was also injured AF and had no opportunity all season long to develop chemistry.  @jrry32 and I have been trying to tell you for a while, we were only going to be drafting 1 OL this whole draft most likely because there just wasn't room for more than that on the roster unless they give up on guys they drafted only 2 years ago, which they weren't likely to do.

If we can come always with Biadasz in the third then he will shore up our line dramatically

our OL isn’t as bad as most think

McGinn has Biadasz falling into Day 3. Maybe deep into Day 3. Medicals are a problem, apparently.

Sorry, but you don't know that with either of those values.  There was a run on RB's right after we took Akers, so you can't say with certainty he'd have been that at 57.  And there were plenty of WR-needy teams picking ahead of us in the 3rd.  Meanwhile, there was only Tyler Johnson at WR who I would have felt near as comfortable with their route-running proficiency, which it's pretty clear McVay prioritizes.

Well no, none of us know anything, but I don't think it's a stretch to say Akers would have been there 5 picks later and we could have traded a few picks down for Jefferson. Along those lines, you don't know that they wouldn't have been there.

Although you make a good point about Jefferson. I'm going to go back and watch the game jrry mentioned and try to learn a little more about him.

There has to be a willing partner on the other side of the phone to trade back.  GM's can't just will them into existence.

Injured AF and no depth. I think the coaching staff is pretty settled on the starting line, but we need depth. Otherwise a few injuries will have us in the exact same position.
