16. Atlanta Falcons: CJ Henderson | CB | Florida

Not a good pick for the Falcons as yes we do need a CB but Henderson is a Man to man CB that struggles in Zone Cover schemes.  We are a Zone 2/3 cover team that we switched to once morris took over last year and got away from man to man.  We would actually be putting Henderson in his weakest position where he struggles the most and also don't have the Safety;s athletic enough to cover for our CB's to play man to man.   So yes Henderson is a good player and on a man to man team he would be phenomenal but he is a pretty bad choice for the Falcons.   The top 4 CB's i this draft that are zone guys are  Johnson, Arnette, Diggs, and Hall.   Those would be your best targets to help the Falcons the most in our scheme to play to their strengths and not struggle.

Best choice for the Falcons here would be Kinlaw at DT easily who is actually better value than Henderson anyways and would be a steal at 16 and a big need for us.

Kinlaw at 16  then one of those 4 CB's in round 2 is best way for the Falcons to improve our team with value talent and scheme fit.
