The Bulls and Dwyane Wade have agreed upon a buyout, sources familiar with the talks said Sunday night.

Wade picked up his $23.8 million player option on June 20, two days before the Bulls began a full rebuild with the trade of Jimmy Butler.

My biggest concern is can wade play defense at all anymore? Even when he tries? I know he mostly plays passing lanes now and cherry picks but can he lock someone down for one possession? I just don’t want him being a massive liability defensively in the playoffs. Maybe only playing 20 minutes a night could help him with having the energy to play defense.

If Cleveland really did promise to start him...

Edit: I guess it wouldn't be awful with Thomas out.

So Wade starts at PG and then bring Rose off the bench? Meh, and who is going to guard opposing PGs then? Smith? Wade should just accept coming off the bench. Would be the perfect role for him at this point of his career.
