You have about 100 million in base salary among 12 players to play with. You can't go below 1m so now its 88 million to convert. At best you get an 80% discount in the current year when you split the bonus over 5 years. That's about 70.4 off the cap and now you have nothing to play with. You are still in the red. There are a few more 2 million base guys that can all save you another few million. No keeping free agents No signing draft picks No bringing in new guys You still can't do anything without cutting some players, making some trades, selling your draft picks for cap relief, and so on. Sean Payton saw the writing on the wall lol. Saved his own legacy but jumped ship when he saw he couldn't steer past the iceberg.

FrantikRam
I feel like if Kamara and Thomas' reputations are still intact (question there for sure), they could get a massive haul for them, bottom out/tank next year and set themselves up with a TON of draft capital moving forward. I don't see a better option for them
El Ramster
Brady had 5694 yards and 50 TDs including playoffs last season. On a per game basis that is 274.7 yards and 2.5 TDs per game vs. 289.2 yards and 2.38 TDs per game from Stafford this season. Matts4313
Im not going to take time to learn this one. But maybe one of you stat heads might like it: From Reddit: Quote What is QuBeR? QuBeR, a portmanteau for Uber Quarterback Rating, is a contemporary metric for evaluating NFL Quarterbacks. It uses 11 accessible statistics to calculate 4 Fundamental Frequencies named Positive Attempt Frequency (PAF), Yards Frequency (YDF), Touchdown Frequency (TDF), and Turnover Frequency (TOF), each ranging from 0 to 25 where a value of 12.5 is considered average. Sum each of those Frequencies and the result is QuBeR, which ranges from 0 to 100 where a value of 50 constitutes average Quarterback play. Nabbs4u
Insane. Hadn't realized that the Bidwells and Adams families of the NFL have owned their Franchises that long and among the Mara's, Hunts and Rooneys. Unreal $100 $500 $2,500 $25K $50K
biggie.
Dan Marino was the absolute king at avoiding sacks. In 240 starts, he was only brought down 270 times. That's an average of just 18 sacks per season. He went through a streak of 759 passes in 19 straight games without being sacked. In 1988 he dropped back 612 times and was only sacked on six of them (or 0.9%). This is an SB era NFL record and will likely never be broken. He did this in spite of beng in the same division as Bruce Smith and Andre Tippett. Edited March 2, 2022 by biggie.

He was absolutely unstoppable. 6 Games. 51 Targets. 67.7% Catch Rate Percentage. 34 Receptions. 459 Receiving Yards. 5 TDs. Receiver Rating of 108.1 🔥🔥 (Throughout a 17 game season that averages out to an average of 145 Targets, 96 Receptions, 1,300 Receiving Yards and 14 TDs per season) 🔥🔥🔥 I won't name the teams specifically but there are 2 NFL teams that 100% will regret passing on this kid while allowing him to fall into the 2nd pick of the 2nd round (one team had a Rookie QB drafted high like Zach Wilson and the other has an unhappy Superstar QB). This kid is DANGEROUS.
DefenseWinsChampionships
Here's another one. Andy Reid = only coach to ever lead his team to 4 Consecutive Trips to the AFC/NFC Championship Game while doing it 2x. Eagles (2001-2004). and Chiefs (2018-2021).
SkippyX
There are only 14 coaches that have won 10+ playoff games with one team. Andy Reid is one of them. If he wins one more playoff game he will be two of the 15.
