Myles doesn’t need to fix **** lol

Here are the type of players sitting out this far:

1. Players who are in the “higher risk health category.“

I don’t know who fits in this category for us.

Everyone over 260 pounds, even more so guys over 30p pounds. Nearly every big guy has sleep apnea, a bad thing to have if you get covid 19.

2. Players who have a recently born child at home.

Nobody for us, but some guys have little kids.

3. Players who have already made their money in the league.

This would include OBJ, Jarvis, Bitonio, Conklin, Tretter, Sheldon, Olivier, and Myles.

Juice is a competitor and OBJ wants to be great.

The two biggest to pull out imo are bitonio and trotter, they have some money, they weigh 300 pounds and clever dudes.

no big losses so far

Forbes should have been in contention for the RG spot.

Well, looks like Teller will likely be the starter at RG.

I think there could be an outside chance with Nick Harris. Dude was a beastly center in the zone scheme. Guard would be an easier transition. Wouldn’t mind him being able to play both guard and center until he cements himself into a starting role if he ever develops that far.

if your a returning fringe roster guy. Best thing to do is to opt out.

I think the NFL should strongly consider finding 8 bubble areas - one for each division.

Do 6 or 9 regular season games games. All in-division. Have 2 bye weeks plus 2 weeks quarantine contingency for each division. So if its a 6 game season that's basically 10 weeks to protect for quarantines if necessary. Anyone who violates bubble protocol is sent home no exceptions.

Each division winner makes playoffs. No wildcard. Have a 1-game play-in if there is a tie atop division. The 4 seed flies to the 1-seeds bubble. The 3-seed to the 2-seeds bubble. Etc.

Season would look something like this:

  • September - 3 division games + 1 bye week
  • October - 3 division games + 1 bye week
  • November - play-in games + catchup on regular season if necessary + 1 or 2 rounds of playoffs
  • December - Rest of playoffs - hell you could even do the Superbowl on Christmas.

You limit your exposure by:

1. Self Isolating - this does that

2. Limiting travel - this does that

3. Shortening season - this does that

If your team sucks, you are out in 6 games and done with the year. You think people on a 2-10 team are going to be as precautionary as a 11-1 team? Imagine if we are 9-3 and play a 3-9 team and we find out 5 of their guys were at the strip club the night before and it causes an outbreak. It would be a disaster. The human element needs control.
