We used it on Erik Johnson but sounds like he’s had a concussion this entire time and if he is back it may not be unless make it deep in the playoffs. While it is within the rules it’s a bad look when he’s healthy and ready to go game 1. Hopefully it gets changed but this is Bettman so. Don’t get me wrong, I like Johnson alright, but I hope he waves his no-move clause so Seattle can pick him up this off-season. Timmins has really stepped up this year and between him, Makar, Girard, Byram, and Graves, I think we are in really good shape moving forward without Johnson. I will admit that having a bigger physical defender would be good for the playoffs though with how small the rest of our defense is though.
