This is clearly bad news for Montgomery who had an underwhelming first season (though of course the Bears were pretty much the definition of underwhelm on the whole). He played ok for the most part, but they didnt give him a lot of carries for long stretches and when he would get the ball, he would be running against 8 man boxes.
