If you can't do this about your quarterback, you need to get another one. Yet so many teams can't. Lets see what happens by the end of the season. He's playing very well this season, and while he isn't mvp right now, he is playing some great football. If you can't see that you're biased or not paying attention. Will be interested to see how he does in primetime against KC this week.
JAF-N72EX
I suspect this thread will end up being a perfect example as to why you cant/shouldn't judge a QB based on raw stats.
Kirill
This award should go to Mahomes every single year. And if you don't think he's by far the best player in the game you need to get your eyes checked.

Rams have a top 2 defense, and really the best scoring defense by a good margin if you remove defensive/ST TDs allowed, he has close to the same number of sacks, and in taking on triple teams on Sunday, allowed other Rams defenders to sack Wilson 6 times. You really had to go ahead and quote that massive wall of text for THIS? Fluffing your homeboy as the #10 MVP candidate 🙄

Like Yin-Yang posted, you realize it’s Most-Valuable-Player not Most-Valuable-Passer, right? Cause I don’t think you do, lol. Yes it is but most seasons the league's MVP is a QB. Since 2000 only 3 RBs have won this award.
SteelKing728
At this point for Cook to even have a shot he's gonna need at least 2000 yards rushing and 25-30 TDs, as well as Minnesota winning out to make the playoffs. Yikes.

Yikes. Yeah, historically for RB's to even be considered for MVP they have to put up ungodly stats while there is no QB having a statistically great season. Cook is doing one of those things, but Mahomes is lighting the world on fire right now and if Russell Wilson can finish the season strong and even guys like Kyler Murray and Aaron Rodgers finish strong, there's no way Cook or Kamara even get a vote.

Carr is having a good season. He's playing good football.

The guy he was responding to was downplaying Murray’s rushing ability in the realm of the MVP conversation, in an attempt to highlight Russ’ passing superiority. But it’s most valuable player, not most valuable passer.

BayRaider
Updated. Notes: - Top 4 no movement. - Drew Brees remains on the list due to his season still being good enough, even with missing a game and a half. He is very likely gone after this week though. - One new addition this week, Derek Carr. I usually don't add people after losses, but Carr balled out against KC, and is deserving of the #10 spot at this point in time. - This is the first time all season the list has been 10 QB's. I doubt it will stay this way though. Edited November 24, 2020 by BayRaider
Archimedes
It’s basically Mahomes, Rodgers, and Wilson, in that order. Rodgers is still within striking distance, Wilson has fallen a bit behind and will have a hard time catching the other two IMO. Nobody else is close enough to those top 3 to merit a mention.
