TheMonarch1110
Found out that apparently today is the 28th anniversary of the original TMNT movie hitting theaters. Looks like I'll be heading to pick up pizza and watching them with my kids when I get home from work today. The first one is honestly my all time favorite movie. Finn and Rey are way better. Why are they trying to make Star Wars like Guardians of the Galaxy (as far as the humor goes) lol at rey being disgusted at shirtless kylo, as was the audience. this movie is so aimless. i cant wait for plinketts review. the jedi training crap is going on too long. the poe/finn subplot.....waaaat?? so far, luke is the only cool character. and i actually liked kylo in star wars 7. hes lame in this one. the luke/kylo flashback was pretty cool though oh god, the obligatory yoda scene. lol what the hell is luke doing. so cant wait for plinkett nothing has happened so far. is this the walking dead? the codebreaker guy reminds me of bencio del toro. thats an interesting character because you are quite sure where he stands. codworth from fallout make an appearance ironing clothes thats kinda cool that kylo and rey saw each other turn now whats that stupid thing with poe now. leia stunned him. that whole thing seemed pointless. the crew are just sauntering out. there is no pacing to this movie the emporer guy reminds me of John from Saw. poe is the biggest screwup ever. lol, shades of return of the jedi showing the rebellion getting shot up. however, i dont believe kylos face turn. obviously the codebreaker was going to double cross, but will there be a triple cross? the ending lightspeed thing was pretty cool a lot of cool stuff happened, but a lot of it didnt make sense, and the "heroes" mostly just got in the way or made things worse. poe should be arrested for manslaughter. he masterminded that stupid plot that got almost everyone killed the guy tasted the blood, spit it out and said "salt". what? i guess it is salt? finn did the right thing by doing the exact opposite of what poe said. but someone had to ruin it and make it all for nothing pretty bold plan by luke here. but how did he survive all those laser hits? did he use his jump technique? the rest of the rebels just slink off. christ didnt luke see star wars iv. sweet! a hologram! pretty cool trick!! he should have thrown a stone at him like thor does loki. of course, thor is used to lokis nonsense. wait what? luke just died for no reason? or did he fast travel? poe never met rey? thats weird. luke isnt dead though. like that? lololol he should have just got shot by lasers then. also, i missed it. did they resolve the codebreaker in any way? This was the best review ever lol. I was chuckling a good portion of it.
MacReady
I took a chance and bought The Hitman's Bodyguard. It had a VERY solid 6.9 rating on IMDB for this type of movie, it has Gary Oldman in it, I was told it was really good... It wasn't. I didn't like it at all, and I cannot justify keeping it. It was barely worth a watch. Gary Oldman didn't even try. He said a while ago that he wouldn't return to a villain role unless somebody shelled out the money, so he must have gotten paid a ton for this. Good job, Gary.
skywindO2
The Ten Commandments, I don't understand why this movie always aired over Easter. Ben Hur would make so much more sense. I guess technically it is Passover but the holidays don't always overlap.

KManX89
I saw Ready Player One yesterday. I honestly can't tell you how it stacks up compared to the book as I haven't read it (yeah, shoot me), but wow, the movie was amazing, I loved every minute of it. Fan service was through the roof. Seeing all these iconic characters from all these different franchises in a perfectly-paced and told story was something to behold. I marked out for MechaGodzilla But yeah, whether you've read the book or not, go see it now. Edited April 1, 2018 by KManX89

I loved it. Mostly cause I also want to be a jumper and bang Rachel bilson. I read the books a long time ago and the second one was terrible. He gets caught and the entire book he is unable to teleport and just gets tortured the whole time until he randomly finally escapes
THE DUKE
Took the kids to see Sherlock Gnomes. For what it is, it's passable. Could see the "twists" a million miles away, but the kids liked it. It's a cute little movie that knows what it is, and doesn't try to be more.
