How did Davis get so open?

All you need to do is stay within a couple of feet of a guy on an inbound so you can contest the shot

He was being guarded by the 2nd most immobile player on the Nugs who was caught on a pick.

Jokic actually did a decent job contesting that all things considered.

Dont want to hear any complaints about DEN not getting any calls / to the FT line going forward. They had a wide margin in FTs tonight and still lost.
The LAL played inconsistent the entire 2nd half. Didnt shoot or move the ball well and had way too many turnovers....but gutted out the win anyway and thats what  counts.

Plumlee is an idiot and let him lead away to the 3 point line and didn't chase after and just pointed like "someone pick him up" lol

At least Jokic went from guarding the inbound passer to trying to get out to Davis and got a good contest on AD.

dumb to bring in plumlee to guard AD

wth

T'was odd indeed. Maybe if it was Plumlee instead of Jokic and better athletes to fight through screens or just switch, but both bigs? Not sure what the plan was there. Rebounding isn't exactly a priority. Maybe to guard the rim for a lob?

Yes to the 2nd part... but no.... Plumlee didn't get caught on a pick. He put himself there. He could've tried following Davis but didn't even attempt to.
