Damn is any team that comes close to the Chargers injuries?

Injuries happen. This team had a chance to win all their games and should of. But they have been horrible in the redzone ontop of 4 tds called back. Injuries havent affected that. Other than prolly Okung.

Anyone want to do this with strength of victory?

  • The Bills are 4-0 against teams that are  2-16 (.111)
  • Dallas is 3-0 against teams who are 2-12 (.143)
  • Baltimore is 3-0 against teams that are 2-11-1 (.179)
  • The Giants are 2-0 against teams that are 2-8 (.200)
  • The Patriots are 5-0 against teams that are 5-18 (.217)
  • The 49ers are 4-0 against teams that are 5-15 (.250)
  • The Bears are 3-0 against teams that are 4-11 (.267)
  • The Seahawks are 4-0 against teams that are  5-14-1 (.275)
  • Philly is 3-0 against teams that are 4-10 (.286)
  • The Jags are 2-0 against teams that are 3-7 (.300)
  • The Texans are 3-0 against teams that are 5-10 (.333)

In a zero sum league you are not going to find many good teams if this is the standard.

  • New Orleans has beaten teams that are 12-8 (.600)
  • The Rams have beaten 3 teams that are 9-6 (.600)
  • KC has beaten teams that are 10-8-1 (.553)

If Strength of Schedule by itself actually means something then DC is a great team because of their 16-9 SOS (.640)

  • Notice how the Patriots being 5-0 works against the Patriots and for DC?

You can take SoV to the next level by subtracting the losses caused by the teams you are analyzing.

  • New England is 5-0 against teams that are 5-18, but those teams are 5-13 when not playing New England .278 is not great, but its much more accurate than .217
  • The 49ers are 4-0 against teams that are 5-15 but 5-11 when not playing SF  .313 instead of .250

If at the end of the season New Orleans is 13-3 and New England is 14-2 and you want to say the Saints are better... you may have a decent argument.

It won't mean the Patriots are not a legit dominant team.

Amazing......I mean three defensive TDs through five weeks is pretty damn good. But how the hell do you only score two offensive TDs in five games? I don't care if you have the worst QB of all time, that shouldn't happen.

#FreeLe'Veon!!!!

The worst QB of all time is better than Luke Falk.

See that's the problem with trying to assign SoS or Strength of victory. A better barometer is "Quality wins' IMO. which is relatively subjective, but how many wins do they have against winning teams is one place to start.

Putting on my "Luke Falk went to WSU so I have to defend him" hat for a second - hasn't he been getting 2nd/3rd team reps for the past few weeks, then all of a sudden on Saturday night they're like "Hey kid, you're starting tomorrow!"? If so, how would anyone expect a rookie to be successful in that situation?
