He's well respected around the league. He may not get a shot at a GM position right away but he will have a role as a sub assistant at the very least. Idk if the bears have ever fired a coach mid season. At the end of the year I’m thinking he’s gone. Previously i would I’ve said no, but this is embarrassing. Five straight losses, three being major embarrassments on national tv. I’d hope that the two are tied at the hip. If one goes, they both go.

Glossed over this part (too focused on Pace). Nagy, I do think he is a good HC but not a good play caller. That said, I do think he can learn from his mistakes and turn into a decent OC with more experience. Nobody is perfect the first time out and Nagy only had 4 games under his belt where he called plays before the Bears hired him. IMO, I think if you put him into an offense like the Falcons with a veteran QB and solid pieces to build around he will work out.

I'm not going to argue about it because ultimately doesn't matter. It wasn't as if it was a defining moment or anything. I'm so pissed off right now with the fact that my favorite team hasn't been able to field a competent offense in over 30 years than I am with 1 single call that didn't determine the outcome at all. Epyon
2 hours ago, ET80 said: Is he fired tomorrow? What happens to Ryan Pace? He won't be fired until "black Monday" (the day after regular season ends).... which given how the league is trending with Covid might be a Wednesday this year. He was brought in specifically to be an offensive minded head coach and help bring this offense out of the sewers, and we've regressed every year he's been here. We went out of our way to trade for Foles, per Nagy's recommendation as a reliable guy who can manage the system/scheme, and the offense actually looks worse than before, and is either 31st or 32nd, down near the Jets, who are blatantly tanking for Lawrence. There are just no excuses he could possibly have to redeem his job at this point. The more concerning aspect is Ryan Pace.... all reports are that he is beloved by the McCasky family, when the reality is that he's as much, if not more responsible for the Bears being what they are than Nagy is. We simply have -zero- talent on the offensive side of the ball.... Robinson is our best guy, and a contested catch specialist who keeps dropping contested catches in the endzone..... None of our skill position people other than Mooney are fast, despite us trying to emulate KC's offense which is loaded with track stars. And we've traded up for, and whiffed on every single offensive talent we've drafted in recent memory. The "hits" out of that list, are right now at best average players. And obviously, he managed to trade up to draft literally the only bad QB out of the top 3 QBs from that draft class. Personally, as a fan, I don't want either Nagy or Pace anywhere near the decision making for our upcoming draft, where we quite likely are going to be FORCED to reach for a QB, and likely going to have to move a ton of the things that are actually good on our team to do so. And that's before acknowledging that our offense has literally 2 medioce OL in Daniels and Whitehair (the rest are absolute bums), 1 WR showing potential in Mooney (and even he is more of a question mark than a known commodity, the rest are bums), and then Tarik Cohen + David Montgomery, neither of whom can be really evaluated well with how bad the line has played. And MAYBE 1 TE in Kmet (and that's a BIG maybe... frankly he's sucked this year too). That's a massive amount of holes to plug, and we're gonna have to have a mini firesale to afford it. Robinson-WR Will get tagged and traded. Hicks-DL Needs to get sold while he still has value... he won't last another rebuild anyhow. Mack-OLB We need to move from ~10 (if we're lucky) to ~3 in the draft.... Where else are we getting the draft capital to do that? Goldman-NT one of the best in the league, but we need to shift $$$ away from the defense and overhaul this offensive unit. Fuller-CB He's playing great and in his prime, I honestly would rather extend him, but like Mack, he's got a ton of value. Hunter2_1
Biscuits should just go be a model. He's not a QB, that's for sure.
SteelKing728
Minnesota is now 2nd in the NFCN. We aren't really that good (could be 8-3 with more luck. We lost 3 on one play) but its a nice turnaround. That GB run defense is worrisome though. They need to fix that fast.
FinSting
From 5-1 to 5-6, this Bears team is in shambles. WTF happened here.
