At our pick all qbs gone so accepted a offer from the Colts to trade down to 21. Trade was our 12th,109th,140th for 21st, 54th, 84th. Slight overpay by colts. They used 12th on Slater 21st. Love the OL and Patrick Jones picks, especially! Starting to get the feeling all top 4 qbs are gone by pick 8 at this stage let alone the 3rd best after JLaw and fields lasting to us a pipe dream. The one thing that could change it is Atlanta going another position (and obviously a trade back), but I fully expect it to go. Even if Lance drops past 8, which I doubt would happen ( I think Carolina is a super ideal situation for him), I would expect there to be a big tradeback market for him. Patriots, Washington, Vikings, I could all see trying to leapfrog into the top 10. That said, if there is a guy to drop to us, it's Lance. 1. TLaw 2. I almost didn't want to take him based on the fact that there is no way he is there at 35. I made the trade to 21 because I assumed the Colts would go Lance...not Bateman.
