If we had ANY idea how to develop a passing game, this would've been a wildly different season. Dude is a scrub. 22 personnel sets, tight formations with our WRs half the time too. It keeps them from spreading the defense out and thus leaves the defenders CLOSER to Lamar when coming for him. We saw Petrino at Louisville build an ACTUAL offense around Lamar by spreading defenses out so that he can use his speed when defenses are least able to defend it because they have to cover 4 and 5 receivers. Yet everyone keeps with this garbage about Roman building the “perfect” offense around Lamar.
