It was the smart move if you trust your defense.

It all comes down to whether or not Green Bay can force a three and out.

Against Brady, playing poorly or not, and all the talent in that Bucs team?

It couldn't possibly make any less sense. I just can't believe what I saw. Still half thinking I'm in a fever dream here.

That field goal is going to be brought up any time Lafleur is for years. Genuinely one of the worst coaching decisions I have ever seen.

It really isn’t with the way the defense has played this half but that won’t shift the narrative no.

What was Rodgers’ reaction to coming off the field on 4th down?  I didn’t notice it but didn’t seem to fight the strategy.

Good thing we have the 3 TO’s on top of the 2 min warning. Esp with King giving up 9 yds. Smart penalty there tho.

Re the field goal

Even if we went for it and got it then we would have to stop Tampa. Could see them going down for a field goal.

So down 8 with 2 minutes and change

kicking the FG means you still have to stop them

going for the TD and failing means you still have to stop them

Scoring the TD means you still have to stop them

any scenario you had to stop them.   kicking the FG limits the opportunity to tie the game
