Kiltman
^ If you want to use hindsight, biggest thing would be how little credit Howie put into the 2017 QB draft class to move up that much for Wentz. Obviously the picks other teams used would be different, but there ya go.

ninjapirate
I do remember one broadcast saying that doug told the plays to press who told them to carson and thinking that was a weird set up.

Kiltman
Simpin’ ain’t easy I’m genuinely excited to not have to read idiots online discuss bringing Orlovsky in for Wentz ever again.
nlesthought
Did Carson take out a full page ad in a Philly paper thanking the city and the FO for believing in him yet? Link? Kiltman
Oh I didn’t realize there was a second condition to move it to a first. It’s Carson plays 70% of the snaps and Colts make the playoffs or Carson plays 75% of the snaps. So it could be higher than #19 next year. Doubtful it could get too high, because you’d think that means Carson is playing how he did here. But if the Colts are competitive but losing games and Carson stays in it’s a good thing. Best case I can see is the AFC South does what the NFC East this year and Colts would be middling but technically in the playoffs race for awhile and then lose it. They probably win 10 games.
