Definitely an end of an era with that team as both big name stars are gone in Green and Atkins. Wonder where Atkins would go as I think he can still perform on a rotational situation. Would like to see him in Buffalo but I doubt it happens. I could see Minnesota but not sure where they are at in the position and cap space.

Vikes signed Tomlinson and have Michael Pierce. They are both primarily bigger power players so there’s certainly a need for a quick penetrating 3T and I’d welcome it as Zimmer loves a deep DL rotation.  Not sure Atkins would be on board as a part time player.

at this point in his career you have to assume he would take on a rotational role. I would like to see him rotate with Oliver in Buffalo

Does he have anything left in the tank?

If he was playing hurt last year, then maybe, but he was baaaaaaaaad last year.  He had also been regressing since 2017 even before falling off a cliff last year.

Also had 23.5 sacks since 2017, I'll trust him as well as my doctors, if he can go, I'd most certainly give him a shot. I'd just keep him on a 20-25 per game pitch count. Plus I heard he was disgruntled over his decreased (and all of the veterans) role and it could have affected his play. Look at Dunlap, he left and looked rejuvenated.
