Lance going to be a 49er imo. Good fit. Has the potential to develop anticipation in his throws, extremely mobile and versatile, can be used in way more packages than Fields, and just overall a lot more fluid than Fields. I’ve always compared Fields to a Matt Stafford type, stiff, but still a solid QB in the right system. I really like all 4 of the Top QB’s in this draft (which is rare, I usually hate one or two). Can’t go wrong with any of the four. But at the end of the day, I think Lance is the better prospect than Fields, better fit for Shanahan’s system than Fields, and will be the pick at 3. I’m pretty confident he will be the pick at 3. And it will be the right selection.

I think the Jones rumors are a classic smokescreen. The 49ers would be the laughing stock of the league.

I mean we were the laughing stock last year when we took Kinlaw over a receiver.

Not really... Ruggs and Jeudy haven’t done quite well, and I’m still not a big Lamb fan. And nobody was gonna pick Jefferson that high.

Typo galore, goodness. Fixed.

I’m definitely not being a creature of the moment. Burrow is debatable but Burrow just also had arguably the GOAT season for a QB, even then I think people would still prefer what Wilson brings to the table. To me he’s a faaaaaaaar Better prospect than Kyler. Better transition, better arm talent, bigger, no baseball questions. Maybe considering the Arizona Cardinals context but I think he would consensus end up ahead of Kyler, not at all preposterous to suggest that..and all of that applies to Baker too.

I mean I like Wilson...alot. But I'm not sure if I'd take him over Kyler. I liked Kyler more than most though. Josh Allen too. I liked Herbert but he did have a high bust potential to me with his inaccuracy overall, especially throwing towards the boundary. All three of those guys I would take over Lance, Fields & Jones w/o much debate.

Not saying a lot of people didn't love it. I'm saying a lot more laughed in casual circles from what I observed.

I mean there will ALWAYS be a contingent of fans disappointed that we went in a direction most didn't see coming. But laughingstock implies a totally different narrative that wasn't accurate imo...

Ok. Have your opinion, and I'll have mine. Agree to disagree and move on. :)
