A-Rod's New team (if traded), what can Packers get in trade?

I would sell to the highest bidder, but the Packers will try to get him as far away as possible, or at least out of the NFC.

Normally I agree.  The the Eagles will have 2 first round picks and 2 second round picks next year.  One of those 2nd round picks could become a 1st rounder (Carson Wentz) if he plays I believe 75% of the snaps.  How would you like to get 3 first rounders next year and a 2nd rounder from the Eagles?  Maybe along with a player or two?

(CB) Surtain; (WR) Jerry Jeudy;  2022 First Round & Second Round; 2023 First Round & Second Round

A pick in 2022 in the trade value chart this year is really a second round choice this year.  Plus with Rodgers you figure that first rounder will be a pick after number 24.  In 2023, that is the trade equivalent of a 3rd rounder this year.  You have to get more so I added the 2nd rounders.

Why not trade him to Philly next year....I hear they have 2 or 3 first round picks and they may not be sold on their quarterback.

I dont think you'll see him in the NFC unless its an overwhelming offer.  He also has some say in where he goes.

Carr is a big no go! $20m salary this season and next. While we would be paying Rodgers $20m or so this season and a little less next season. So in essence we are paying Rodgers what he is due for the next two years to get Carr's production. Makes no sense!

Marcus Mariota though might make some sense. He is cheap $3.5m and MLF got some connect with him from his time there.

Carr is fine. He costs nothing to cut/trade pre or post June 1 and would bring in a decent draft pick should we want to deal him post 2021.

Plus, LV isn't going to have two $20+ Million QBs on their roster so you're almost guaranteed to have a Rodgers/Carr swap much like Stafford/Goff except Carr's contract isn't a killer like Goff's.

Might make some sense there with Mariota,  I'm not sure you get the player quality in LV, as you would in Denver.  If they want current players involved.

I think people should equate Jared Goff's contract as a liability in this trade rather than an asset.

Fair to view it that way..  Goff is a starting QB.  Not sure what he will become outside of LAR.

I don't want Carr. If Rodgers leaves Love is going to start and we will see what he is. Maybe it's a rocky year or two but if it doesn't work out there are the picks to go take another swing at it. Give me a young player like Ruggs/Jeudy/Surtain and a bunch of picks.

I agree.  If Rodgers is traded, I think Love should start.  Carr doesn't really do much to help the process of Love developing
