.Buzz
Remember being super confused why he fell as far as he did. Becoming more and more obvious… Sounds like they “hope” he can be back in November but with him being a rookie, not having practiced at all, and the severity of the surgery he’s probably done for the year. Pretty rough given their OL situation.

vegas492
I thought he was going to be one of those "steals" of the draft. Now we know why he fell. Back surgery on big guys is a tough thing. Seems like the Bears just can't have nice things on the o-line.
Ty21
Kyle Long 2.
TitanSlim
Thinking about if he fell to the Titans 2nd round pick and we picked him and Farley with our first 2 picks. Two guys with back injuries would certainly go over well for our fanbase. Age is on his side but back injuries are always scary, especially at those positions in the trenches. Hoping for a full recovery for him.
MonserinNC
Jason Peters is old, but in his prime was in the discussion for best LT in the league. I know he is nowhere near that but Jenkins is a rookie starting at a new position. I think the gap between the 2, at least for this season, isnt as big as we think.

The only way that isn’t a very bold statement is if you’re assuming Jenkins would’ve been absolutely terrible
minutemancl
Justin Fields looks good, but that OL is not in good shape. It may be worth it to start Andy Dalton week 1 and for the first few games just so Fields doesn't come in and immediately start running for his life and getting sacks. That potentially ruins a QB's career.
MSURacerDT55
The Bengals and the Bears should be fighting to fortify their OL at all cost
Turnobili
damn, he was one of my favorite players on the draft. wanted him over leatherwood at 17 (well, i wanted darrisaw, then jenkins... though both are now hurt). hope he bounces back from this
