How do the enigma Eagles play vs the defending champs? Can our DL dominate and cause turnovers again? Does Sirianni finally run the football? Will we throw a billion screens for no apparent reason again? Do we get good Hurts or bad Hurts? Lots of questions to be asked vs one of the top teams in the league. Jeezla Posted October 12, 2021 Share Posted October 12, 2021 I hope w/e Lanes dealing with has a happy ending, but I'm guessing it's something like one of his parents is having health issues. The silver lining, as it relates to football, is Lane probably needed this extra time off to further heal his ankles, which likely weren't at 100% even though he wasn't playing bad or showing up on the injury report. If Bucs are at their best? 42-10, bloodbath. HFA be damned. Teams are rarely on their A game on TNF though. If both teams play about their average? Bucs 27-17 (my prediction). I think there’s a chance for us to win on short week, playing home. Bucs could come out sloppy and we win an ugly contest like 20-17. AZ_Eaglesfan Posted October 12, 2021 Author Share Posted October 12, 2021 I actually think we match up well vs TB. Their strength is run defense and our HC doesn't know what running the ball is. I don't think their pass rush as 4 is that scary either and our beat up OL seems to be holding up well enough to matchup vs their DL. The game comes down to our DL and QB play basically. If the DL can dominate again we will be in it to the end but if they can't TB12 is going to absolutely dunk on us. Our offense will have to score a decent amount to win this as well, need Hurts to play really well throwing the ball vs a massively beat up secondary. At the end of the day I think we lose by two scores as I think the Bucs OL holds up and our DL impact is minimal. 34-20 Tampa Bay. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
