But, to be fair, they were handed the worst situation in the league due to the ineptitude of the previous GM. I'd say it was worse when they drafted Manziel AFTER they spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on a study that told them that they should take..... Other regimes operated off of signing a bunch of aging veteran stop gap players to 'my last paycheck' deals just to go 5-11 every year with no plan or end goal in sight.
