Somebody will get paid somewhere to make sure that he plays. Look at the covid thing .. once the playoffs started nobody tested positive any longer. NFLGURU
Stop the run and put the ball in Garrapolo's hands. You know what's coming, power football with a lot of misdirection.. If the Packers cant stop that in 0 degree weather at home, they don't deserve to win.

The one to watch is Ambry Thomas. He is dealing with a bone bruise to his knee and he's been playing some good ball as of late. If he can't go, Dontae Johnson or Josh Norman will replace him and there is a big drop off there. Jordan Willis surprisingly was also limited in practice yesterday which was a big surprise. Everyone had all but ruled him out since he's dealing with a high ankle sprain. Doesn't mean he will play but looks like he will try to give it a go. Since yesterday was the last real practice of the week, what is the update on Z?

On Z—No news, so same: he will likely give it a go, how effective he’ll be with so much time off is the big unknown. But, what IS known is the guy he is replacing was a clear liability. So, it’s almost certainly an upgrade regardless of what he can give us.
Packerraymond
No Bakh at practice, who the hell knows with him anymore? I'd still assume he's playing, absolutely no way he plays a pointless Detroit game only to miss this one.
packfanfb
Just start Nijman and be done with it already. Just annoying at this point.

deltarich87
The back injury MVS sustained in the preseason Week 18 game against Detroit will keep him out for at least this weeks playoff game as he's listed as DOUBTFUL. Bak and Jaire gonna be listed as QUESTIONABLE. Za'Darius status will be known tomorrow since he's still on IR and hasn't been activated yet. If he's activated tomorrow, he will play. Billy Turner is good to go for Saturday

J-ALL-DAY
Did Bakhtiari have any issues after the game? Did he finish the game fine? Maybe he is just resting his knee since he probably had some soreness.
incognito_man
Not having MVS is a slight bummer. Here's how we did when he wasn't available: 4,5,6,7,8,13,16 W vs PIT (27-17) W @ CIN (25-22) W @ CHI (24-14) W v WFT (24-10) W @ ARI (24-21) W v CLE (24-22) Looks like we will score between 24-27 lol

He played about a quarter and half in Week 18 before they pulled him and then shortly after that they pulled the rest of the starters. LaFleur said Bak was fatigued so that's why he was pulled a bit earlier than the rest of the starters Bak wasn't even planning on playing in the game at all but Rodgers convinced him to give it a go. Honestly don't know what to expect with him at this point. I assume he's playing on Saturday, and I assume these DNP in practices this week is them just trying to manage things and not have him practicing on back to back days but who knows Edited January 20, 2022 by deltarich87

I think one thing is clear: both coaching staffs are making a point to be very tight-lipped with all of this
