Watson to the Eagles comments.

No one is paying that price. Not even remotely close.

  • Watson's value has tanked since his 10 million dollar cap hit year is over.
  • Houston has zero leverage.
  • He's got the stink of creep on him.

At the draft last year if there was no lawsuit story then maybe Watson gets that kind of a return. That's not reality.

I could see Philly giving him a 2nd chance if the lawsuits are settled or finished. (see Vick) but does Watson want to play in Philly?

I don't think there will be a lot of movement like there was last year and two years ago.

I figure Bridgewater, Mariota and Jimmy G move but that's really not all that exciting.

I agree with this in general.

I think Jimmy G and Carr will move, and most of the key qbs stay put

jimmy g to the steelers is my hope, anything's better than mason rudolph but jimmy gives us a chance tbh

Call me crazy, but if I'm the Steelers I'm calling Minnesota and seeing if they would move Cousins. Just because Jimmy is more publicly available does not mean he's the best option, or the only QB who is super available. Vikings have a new staff and may want to start over

Both Jimmy and Kirk are on the final year of a high dollar contract, but I think Cousins is the better option AND fit for that team

Think Rodgers stays with the Packers. I don't think he has the bad feelings he did a year ago. Think this season has healed a lot of the wounds. Even Rodgers will have to step back and think of the big picture here and look at the QBs in the NFC and understand the easiest path back to a Super Bowl is if he stays with the Packers.

I see Jimmy G going to the Steelers cause they will be the most aggressive in the QB market imo

The question is whether or not he's actually available. If I were the Vikings, I'd have him available for sure. I don't love the idea of Cousins on an extension. I don't think people realize that he's entering his age 34 season, and his contract will start at age 35. He's a guy I think that ages like Matt Ryan...It's not a bad QB, but it's a bad value contract. And the Vikings can't  really go year for year with him on the tag given his prior history. So get what you can for him now and turn the page.
