That really isn't anything of value given up by them. Given the receiver corps, he's a little superfluous and they have Albert 0 to replace him. He's in the last year of his deal (assuming that Seattle picks up the option though). Value wise going out the door two of the three player pieces are negligible Agreed. They will draft another TE. It was crucial to keep that WR core together and they did.

I guess Fant and Harris are upper caliber players, arguably top 10/15 at their respective positions. Would of liked to see Seattle get another 1st round pick in this deal, but can't complain too much about the return given Wilson's no trade clause and the fact that he looked to be regressing last year, albeit largely due to the injury and rushing back from it. If Seattle can find themselves a legitimate QB in the draft, the offensive side of the ball still has a lot of potential b/w DK/Lockett/Fant/Carson.

biggie.
Good deal for all parties. Wilson gets a fresh start on a team that's in win now mode and Seattle gets resources to rebuild. Edited March 9, 2022 by biggie.

The Patriots poison pilled a contract but after Kraft found out he cancelled the contract, apologized to the Dolphins and offered to straight up trade a 2nd & 7th (the 7th was to keep goodwill). Someone correct me if i'm wrong I remember back then everyone was all up in arms over the 7th rounder being included. Either this or a different forum. Like, guys....its most likely a 3-4 year special teamer if you're lucky lol.
