They missed their chance when GSW had the two top 10 picks and the Wiggins contract and some level of desperation. That was the opportunity to pounce upon. Beal getting hurt this past season and eliminating any chance of trading him at the deadline was the basketball gods reminding the world that he who hesitates rarely celebrates.
