You can't risk waiting on next year hoping that QB class will be good. You’re not wrong but I thought this was going to be a big development year for Zach. If he’s rehabbing all year, then still needs another year for recovery/game development, you’re looking at possibly 2024 when you’re not sure who your QB is. NYJets4716 Posted August 13, 2022 Share Posted August 13, 2022 If Wilson was out for season, zero chance they are taking a QB next year. For one, the QB prospects are overrated. But two that is terrible team building using a 1st round pick on a QB every other year. The casual fans don't understand that the organization feels very highly on Wilson. The teammates love him, he is a well respected leader who has been earning the respect of everyone with how hard he works.  Hopefully it is not torn and he can play this season, because as a fan it will be horrible to have to get myself excited to watch Flacco starting all season. More of a chance we go OT round 1 next year than anything else. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
