I get feedback from Falcons fans like you too from these mocks every time so the Falcons have become very easy to draft for lol just go trenches, especially on the DL. Maybe a CB depending on the board. Pretty easy.

Hey atleast you are putting in the effort to talk with us and trying to understand where were coming from on our team.  That in itself is awesome and appreciated as well my friend.  I think most falcon fans are just tired of seeing our defense no matter what coach we get or who we bring in being lousy and costing us games and championships.  Ryan literally went his entire career with a lack luster defense for the most part and we haven't had a pass rush since Abe left.   Beasley led the league one time in sacks but rest of the team did nothing.   The thing that pushed me over board on it now is the number 39.  last 2 seasons combined 39 sacks 2nd worst team 62.  Meaning we are so bad we could have had a extra full seasons of sacks compared to everyone else and still been dead last lol.  Thats just embarrassing and unacceptable to me and i want most of our high picks and a good bit of FA money put into the D-line and secondary.

Is it because of the position or the player? I was under the impression that CB was a need for them but beyond LT, I'm not as familiar with their needs.

Whoops. He was someone that got shuffled around a little when I had to go back and redo the end of the first and most of the second round. Guess I forgot to shuffle him back into the mock. I had him at the end of the first to the Chiefs I think originally. I had Broncos going Dawand Jones at that pick so replacing them with the Saints pushed things around a little bit.

Would you have preferred Joey Porter Jr. over Skoronski there? That was one where I was going back and forth a bit.

No way. Skor is a no brainer there. I do like Musgrave but he’s probably by TE3 or 4. It’s a very good draft. I’d be quite happy.

Position. CB is not in the top 5. Pre free agency, the needs, in order, are LT, WR2, LG, RG, and IDL. ILB is likely to be sorted out in free agency, since all signs point to Long re-signing. IDL probably gets taken care of too, but it’s also likely that Bud Dupree gets cut and makes Edge a need.

i wouldnt complain about it.  however i could easily see it being Torrence(solidifying the LG Spot), JDawand ones(Baalke loves his length and size and we do sorta need solution at RT(wether that be Walker little, a resigned taylor or a draft pick). Simpson seems like a BPA kinda pick but i dont really see a true need/Fit for him especially with having 3 ILBs already heavily invested in so that makes him more of an EDGE or S and hes not big enough to edge full time and hes probably a lil too slow to be a safety.

not a bad choice based on need but i would definitely take one of the edges going after this choice.  the minimum guy we need at CB should be a Slot guy but we could use a future outside guy(if we want to move on from williams next year).

Right idea with Jones, wrong player. This line does a lot of pulling and trapping. Mauch would be better, but give them Kancey. Indeed, Kancey should already be gone.

Again, Carter is the right idea though they may wait and take multiple shots.

Consider a TE. There are three good ones and Kelce is 33.

Packers take WR Addison in round one.........

A 5'11", 173 lb receiver. Have you looked at the roster to see what receivers the Packers get ?  They like bigger guys (like 205lb+) and ideally taller guys.

1) They never take receivers in round one

2) They like guys that are powerful or tall or both - they want receivers who can block.

Wanted to do one of these post-combine but pre-free agency and with the tampering period opening today, I wanted to go ahead and get one done. I did this pretty quickly but overall I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, didn't have too many spots where I felt clueless.

As always, I appreciate your constructive feedback and insight into your teams. Each one of these I do, I learn more and more so feel free to share your thoughts and talk about the picks. Thanks for reading.

Not bad position wise for the Bengals.  I really like Jones in the first.  I don't want Tuli after his weight at the combine, so either Felix Uzomah if still a DE or Forbes at CB.  RB probably in play, but give me Sydney Brown in the third and his brother in the 4th or 5th to keep their family happy.

I'm not sure I see how the sizes for Tuipulotu and FAU are that different. Tuli weight in at 266 and FAU at 255. Not too far off and both are completely fine for an EDGE.

Tuli doesn't bend well.  With his listed weight, I thought that was the cause of it.  With his weight down around 265, I want a more athletic guys, a faster guys.  Tuli wins with stunts and twists all the time, but rarely one on one.  Give me a guy who does that over a guy who doesn't all day.

Love it. I think he's more of a DL for us, but I love the pick as a piece for the front 7.

Great pick. Needs some veteran mentorship, but would be a good CB2 for us.

I like this. I don't think the Falcons need a C (more LG than C), but he would be an interesting fit here.
