I had just assumed WIS would go with Leonhard.  Pleasantly surprised by the Fickell hire.  That program is in dire need of a reset.

You have to think that LaFleur already is feeling major pressure to change out Barry as DC. And given the fact that MLF has previously offered Jim Leonhard the job, and UW has hired another guy to be head coach, it looks like the stars are all lining up for Leonhard to leave Madison to run the Packer's defense next year. So many excellent years as a defender in the NFL should provide a sound basis for JL to come in and turn the D around, and his college defenses have been awesome. Just hoping if he lands the job, he doesn't get overly cautious like Barry.

Barry is singlehandedly losing this game.  Offense is far from blameless, but this game has put their margin for error at zero, and it's all Barry's fault.  I don't care if they don't score again in this game, it's all Joe Barry's fault.

Yeah .. he's always been on their list, but I'm not sure how much interest he'd had in going their previously.  Throw a bag at him and see if it changes his mind.
