So now that we can add athletic numbers to the mix, here's my grades on this years EDGE and IDL class:

IDL:

Tier 1: Probably going to end up as my #1 player in the class due to scarcity of the position.
-Jalen Carter

Tier 2: OK with any of these guys at 15, happier with a trade down, ecstatic if any of them got to 45.
-Keeanu Benton
-Calijah Kancey
-Bryan Bresee

Tier 3: Early-mid 2nd round grade
-Mazi Smith

Tier 4: Clear Day 2 guys
-Gervon Dexter
-Zacch Pickens
-Kar Brooks

Tier 5: Draftable day 3
-Jalen Redmond
-Byron Young
-Siaka Ika
-Jaquelin Roy
-Kobie Turner
-Dante Still
-Jerrod Clark

EDGE class

Tier 1: Early round 1 guys, be hard pressed to find a path for them to #15
-Will Anderson
-Tyree Wilson
-Lukas Van Ness

Tier 2: Guys who should be candidates at 15
Nolan Smith
Myles Murphy
Keion White

Tier 3: The big tier, so much depth and athletic ability in this class, you'd be happy to get any of these guys at the tail end of round 1, but some of them have to slip
-A²
-Derick Hall
-FA-U
-Isaiah Foskey
-Zach Harrison
-Tuli Tuipolotu
-BJ Ojulari

Tier4: Late Day 2/Early Day 3 tier
-Robert Beal
-Yaya Diaby
-Byron Young
-Dylan Horton
-Colby Wooden

Tier 5: Draftable Day 3
-Mike Morris
-Andre Carter
-KJ Henry
-Tavius Robinson
-Ochaun Mathis
-Jose Ramirez
-Ali Gaye
-Isaiah McGuire

Just getting into draft names now, where you got Adetomiwa Adebawore?

Not really at all surprising, if he tests like he's expected to at the Michigan Pro Day, the gap that started out as miniscule between him and Ika will turn into about the size of Lake Michigan. Definitely the premier NT in the class.

I do wonder if that could be in the works.

I watched a Jaire Alexander highlight video yesterday.  Rasul is significantly larger than Jaire.  And his listed height and weight are also bigger than that of Savage.  I still would question Rasul's ability to take on a RB one on one though.

But then I wonder, can you get away with 3 safeties: Douglas, Savage, Carpenter? Carpenter obviously plays the more "LB" type of role while Douglas and Savage would be more coverage oriented.  And yes, I am just going with guys currently on the roster, I realize that Carpenter is not a hidden superstar.

Someone else suggested it and I can’t stop thinking about how perfect he would be there. We need his or Jaire’s attitude at safety.

I bet Adebawore is ahead of Carter on our board. In fact, I'm not sure there's (m)any guys higher than him.

Lordy.

Just re-watched the 4 games I have on him after that unwordly performance and I can assure you this is not true. He's going to go round 2 because of unheard-of trait, but as of right now, he's just not that good.
