Disagree.  Aaron Rodgers playing is a business decision that would benefit the entire league.  It's money, owners arent going to be pissed about that.

Now if Goodell is trying to dictate terms of a Rodgers deal, yes that's out of bounds.  Encouraging them to finish the deal one way or the other isn't IMO.  Theres no punishment involved if they dont.

This makes zero sense.

Hey, maybe the NFL should step in and force GB to trade Rodgers to San Francisco.

Get him into a bigger market that will draw more ratings and all owners will get a few more bucks in their pocket.

Or...get Rodgers to New England, because everyone in the country wants to see BB now win one without Brady.

Or....go with me on this....NFL puts a team overseas.  Forces GB to send Rodgers there to fill those stands with fans so that every other owner can make more money.

Vegas you better be careful continuing to pre-release the script

Jets talking heads saying they need 1(13) for a tackle that Becton can’t be counted on , let’s add Nijman for Becton to the trade.

1(13), 2024 2nd, 2025 3rd if Rodgers plays in 2024., Moore, Ruckert, and Becton

for

ARod, Nijman and 2023 3rd.

maybe settle for Mims or Davis in place of Moore, but if they sign OBJ they won’t need Moore.

I simply do not understand the impetus that the NFL would have to intervene in probably their biggest offseason story in order to bring it to a conclusion.  Particularly when the holdup is very ordinary- two teams disagree on trade compensation.  If Goodell was going to lean on someone, he wouldn't actually do anything before the draft.

Becton really isn't a great fit for what we do. Nijman to them is a good idea though, frees up 4m. If they feel like Zach Tom is the future at RT.

Why wouldn't the Jets just sign Nijman to an offer sheet if they really wanted him.

Agree. Theres no hurry,  let them fight it out for now and for the summer if it goes that long.

For no particular reason Tom's always looked on the small side to hold down an OT position long term - but I just checked the roster and he fits right in with the rest of them.....on the smaller side....but not by much.
