1.1 Berlin- CJ Stroud QB OSU

Ball Placement specialist to lead a very good team out of the gutter and back into relevance. Berlin gets the QBOTF and can stop the gambles on the Malik Willis’ of the world.

1.2 Seoul- Bryce Young QB Bama

Short but mighty. Young if taller wouldn’t even be being doubted. Seoul takes the risk here in the talented signal caller leading them into the future.

1.3 Gotham- Will Anderson Jr Edge Bama

Gotham needs to add edge players and they add the best one here. Anderson instantly improves their pass rush and makes life even easier on their talented secondary.

1.4 Raleigh- Christian Gonzalez CB Oregon

Raleigh looks for a future number one corner here in Gonzalez who has it all including a just above 4% missed tackle rate which is impressive for a corner. They take the gamble that they can wait until 8 to grab their QB.

1.5 Anchorage- Jaxon Smith-Njigba WR OSU

I grab my slot receiver for hopefully the next decade. Pairing with Chase and Jameson JSN can give us a nice variance and middle field weapon.

1.6 Hungary- Jalen Carter INT UGA

Hungary takes the chance on the Uber talented Carter here. After trading for Max Crosby the front 7 rebuild continues.

1.7 Greenland- Devon Witherspoon CB Illinois

Greenland needs to get another corner and Witherspoon has nickel size but he packs a punch. Very productive and instinctual after trading for Bosa to sure up their edge they add to a talented Corner corps with Lattimore and Woolen.

1.8 Raleigh- Anthony Richardson QB UF

The wait paid off here for Raleigh. They get the very talented AR who still needs development and refinement but if he hits will be a massive get here for Raleigh.

1.9 Cuba- Bijan Robinson RB Texas

Thought about edge here but not sure you trade an all pro talent at edge who is 25 even if he is making 16k to just use a higher pick than the return on the same position. So Cuba not afraid to go RB early grabs Bijan here to form a scary 1-2 punch with Etienne. They also still have Jamaal Williams but the future of the backfield is the two mentioned before. Bijan is widely viewed as a top 5 talent if positional value is taken out of the picture. So Cuba bets on that talent here.

1.10 New Orleans- Joey Porter Jr CB

They would have loved Robinson to fall here but they go with plan B and add a very talented corner with length and pedigree in JPJ.

1.11 Gotham- Broderick Jones OT UGA

Gotham grabs their LT of the future here in Broderick. Measuring longer than expected he has the movement skills and technique to be a cornerstone LT and provide Gotham with assurance at one of the most important positions for years to come.

1.12 Ivory Coast- Paris Johnson Jr OT

A Tackle with versatility and exceptional length. PJJ would give IC their LT of the future behind Trent Williams while being able to start at RT or even guard where he has experience. A very nice addition for the IC offense here.

1.13 Berlin- Tyree Wilson Edge TTU

A big edge with great wingspan. TW is still developing but is a force in all facets of the game. He is just a big human who moves well and can swallow up backs in the backfield. Would make a nice addition to the Berlin edge rotation.

1.14 Cancun- Jordan Addison WR USC

Addison would be a nice fit in the slot for Cancun. With Olave and Sutton on the outside he can become the weapon that Elijah Moore hasn’t been given much of a chance to become. Opening up things over the middle for Mahomes, Addison can really help elevate this offense.

1.15 Rome- Myles Murphy Edge Clemson

A player with great burst and good size. Murphy hustles and is still developing as a player with tremendous potential. A bit lost in the shuffle because he has yet to work out he would provide a nice rusher to add to the Rome rotation here.

1.16 Anchorage- Quentin Johnston WR TCU

Another receiver with a bit different skill set. I take the gamble on QJ who many have compared to Kevin White.

2.1 Berlin- Cam Smith CB Scar

Berlin needs to add to their corner group so they add a battle tested SEC corner in Cam.

2.2 Gotham- Peter Skoronski OG NW

Gotham keeps building up the trenches adding a top prospect on the oline here to play guard.

2.3 Seoul- Deonte Banks CB Maryland

Banks has all the physical talent and size to be a premier lockdown corner. Needs to improve on his ball skills but gives Seoul another nice secondary piece to a young unit.

2.4 Gotham- Will Levis QB UK

Gotham with so many picks can take gambles and they gamble on a QB with very good physical traits. He just needs to keep developing other parts of his game.

2.5 Cuba- Nolan Smith Edge UGA

Extremely athletic and good against the run, Smith can be the edge rusher opposite Gary and be moved around in different ways with his versatility.

2.6 Raleigh- Jalin Hyatt WR Tennessee

I have Flowers over Hyatt but I feel Hyatt is a receiver Pete would prefer. Pairing him with the arm of Richardson would be a deadly deep threat connection.

2.7 Greenland- Brian Branch S Bama

They need safety help and adding Branch who may not be best athlete but is a down right football player paired with Spoon earlier gives this secondary a ruthless identity.

2.8 Anchorage- Calijah Kancey INT Pitt

My Ed Oliver replacement in 2024. Can work in the rotation now while it’s always good to be a year ahead and can fit in next to Jordan Davis and Vita as a penetrating 3T.

2.9 Cuba- Zay Flowers WR BC

Flowers has versatility to move around the formation. A playmaker with the ball in his hands he can break in and out of routes with ease and would be a nice addition to this offense.

2.10 Anchorage- Kelee Ringo CB UGA

I take the Ringo gamble here. A former Dawg who might transition better to safety, I’ll bet on the potential and the SEC experience with this pick.

2.11 Lancaster- Bryan Bresee INT Clemson

Lancaster needs edge but Bresee will provide too good of value here to help bolster the interior of their line.

2.12 Gotham- Lukas Van Ness Edge Iowa

Another pass rusher to give Gotham a nice duo with Will Anderson. Can be the strong side base end opposite Will and provide a nice compliment for this Dline.

2.13 Berlin- Darnell Washington TE UGA

A big bodied blocker with the athleticism to provide a weapon in the passing game. He paired with Goedert can make a formidable duo and quite the safety nets for Stroud.

2.14 Cancun- Dalton Kincaid TE Utah

Cancun adds their Kelce here with this addition. Kincaid and Addison instantly improve an already dangerous offense.

2.15 Rome- Jack Campbell LB Iowa

Bit early here but Campbell with Milano and Bolton would form a nice trio of linebackers for Rome when they go against heavier sets.

2.16 Anchorage- BJ Ojulari Edge LSU

I drafted his brother (and traded him) but this another looking ahead in case Highsmith is not 3upped after this season Ojulari provides me the juice off the edge with his bend and hustle.

He’s bigger than LaPorta but still on the RAS small side. Fun fact for you :)

Mwil's scouting process

What's funny is that I'd actually say @Blue puts more stock into RAS than I do. I think it's a valuable tool when RAS meets film/production, but I typically value it in certain positions more than others, or when I see equal prospects I go with the higher RAS guy.

That said, for example, I liked Winfield more than Delpit as a S prospect due to his on field production and bloodlines, and thus far I'm right.

Barkevius Mingo was a RAS freak and I hated him as a prospect.

But then you see guys like Calvin Johnson who had elite film and RAS scores and that's a "blue chip prospect" IMO.

I like RAS more for "tiebreakers" in the lottery picks or D3. I tend to love "college production" guys in R2-R3.

I figured Blue would want Mayer but I also thought about giving you Musgrave

I love Musgrave, but I'm terrified of him/his injury history as well to be honest.

And like I said, I do legitimately like LaPorta. A lot of the guys in this class come down to value. The "needs" we see on our roster don't line up with value in various spots, so this draft will be interesting in my opinion.

As a whole, I don't have this class graded very high at all.

Still another few hours before Rack can match Whicker's offer on Hurts and there's no other RFAs worth bidding on at their tenders.

As far as trades, I've PMed two people who never messaged back so I'm just sitting here waiting for the draft.

Logan Wilson is worth an offer sheet.
