JaguarCrazy2832
there is no perfect solution to any of this, I dont hate the idea of adding the 8th seed to the AFC and the neutral site stuff. thats my favorite so far.

What is that if not a competitive disadvantage? Dude, there was a game canceled. It happened to be a home game. You play a home game this week. What are you looking for? THE DUKE
Had they just declared it a no contest, and made zero other changes, I would have been ok with it. They do have rules in place for this scenario, which they are not following, which is why Katie Blackburn (who is on the competition committee) is pissed. Other teams getting considerations that some teams are not getting is what I don't get.

I’m done here.

Declare no contest, sure. Go by win % then, that's the rule. Nothing else.
RuskieTitan
NFL changing rules on the fly? Not shocked.

Frankly, I'm amazed the NFLPA is letting them set this precedent. All sorts of changes on the fly mandated by the league.
Kip Smithers
I don’t see an outcome that wouldn’t see some team impacted not fairly. Is it not possible to push the playoffs back one week and resume this game as a stand alone game next week?

Never seen before and likely (hopefully) never seen again. Every team impacted lost out on a chance for something and gained something back (because of them circumventing the written rule). I’m sure if the NFL realized people would just complain anyway they would’ve stick with what was written. They were actually trying to do right by teams. Shame on them. RavensfanRD
Not that it matters too much, but I like how the Ravens, who were battling for an AFC North title is just tossed to the side with a "Yeah, coin flip, pal". That's kinda funny. But with Lamar out, I didn't have much faith anyway.

This weekend will be their 7th home game.
