On paper, it certainly looks like the Bengals should win with Mahomes being hurt. Seems like everyone thinks that’s what’s going to happen. That’s what’s making me feel like it’s going to go differently. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if Mahomes looks absolutely fine on Sunday night.

I get your logic but have you ever seen someone come back from that severe of an ankle sprain especially a guy who has pocket mobility like Patrick and also big plant leg?

KC's line will need to play out of their minds for them to win this bc there will be pressure. That could very well happen but still need to outscore Burrow and Co.

If Mahomes is "fine", I will definitely be surprised. That looked extremely painful and, again, it's his plant leg

A Chiefs fan could fart in KC and the Bengals would use it as motivation to win. I can assure you motivation won't be an issue. It hasn't been a problem all year.

I would like to think the game played last February and that outcome is motivation enough for the entire season

'if' the injury is as they say it is, high ankle sprain,  then he will be limited.  His game will be different but should still be dangerous if given time to set up and throw.  If however, he won't go under center, that in turn could have a negative effect on the run game  as well.  Most of all, lets hope this injury doesn't get worse, shades of RG3 for example

He could barely walk on it and the way it looked, I'm fairly certain that diagnosis is correct. If it weren't his plant leg, I wouldn't find it as concerning if I were a Chiefs fan but he's going to need to drive off that which probably will cause problems. His mobility, which is a very strong part of his game, will certainly be affected. You're absolutely right that we won't see him under center at all and as a result, the run game will be affected as well. Going to be interesting to see what happens with this one but these injuries usually take a long time to recover from

Bengals D is gonna put some extra hot sauce on Mahomes ankle. I see them winning this game.

this could be like sharks feasting out there if/when they find a blitz or stunt that contains him then has the walls close in.  I expect Kelce to get more quick throws and if the Bengals cover Kelce the same way the Jags did, then Kelce will go off and have a major game

If Mahomes sets up quick with mostly a short passing game and it works, it will be interesting to see how Anarumo adjusts his defence.  I don't see Mahomes slowing down much in productivity, it's just going to be a different way to a similar result.

Kelce had a good game against Cincy last year, would expect the same again. Elite players are usually going to get their’s. I think it comes down to what the other guys can make of the opportunities they get. You have to imagine given the ankle, not having to account for a guy like Hill, and the focus on Kelce, that Cincy’s going to bring heat and try to smother the short stuff. MVS/JJSS and the backs are going to have to carry their weight in this one.

Genuinely very excited for this game.

Bengals have had their number and Mahomes won't be 100%. But you can't ever count out the Chiefs and Reid. Bengals look like they're on a mission though.

I want the Bengals at this point. But I always feel Reid and Mahomes have a shot to prove us all wrong.

It's actually brilliant on Zac Taylor's part. I've never seen a Bengals team this consistently hungry.

Now the Bengals are favored to win. Can’t wait to hear how they spin it to find some disrespect.

We should’ve been favored way earlier, we’ve beaten them three times!

Never seen a scrub think so highly of himself like Eli Apple. Dude really thinks he plays a major part of them winning lol.

Every time he gives up a big play against the Chiefs (which will probably be very frequently), they really ought to just put him getting burnt to a crisp by DEMARCUS ROBINSON on the jumbotron on repeat.

Eli Apple is the definition of a scrub who only talks when he's winning.
