Brock Purdy has torn UCL

Oof BDL stud Brock Purdy out for 2023, go for the full reconstruction, take a year off, let Trey Lance be the guy for a year and get a strong backup to Lance or two.

It's crazy the 49ers had 3 starting caliber QBs on the roster and couldn't do **** after all 3 got injured.

Definitely awesome. Perform or go home early, athletic reality is a harsh mistress.

Injuries = awesome for the NFL. Alright, great to know where you stand. Now I can imagine you fist pumping the air when Tua got injured from your couch. Oof.

Might be some egg on the faces of the fans calling him soft for not going back in. 👀

Feel like the egg was there the second they said that. NFL players are tough dudes for the most part. Purdy is a competitor. If he could play everyone knew he would have been out there.

Really need to up the number of roster spots as well as game day actives. I'd suggest bumping each by 4 or 5. It would allow for developing more homegrown talent and cushion for injury.

active 3 QB's, teams then also have a QB on the PS, so 4 ready to go.  Same with OL, activate more in case of injury. Why not ?

You refuse to acknowledge the Eagles defense? Very weird, Philly was among the strongest pass-rushing defenses in NFL history. That's just poor sportsmanship and weak sauce. The Eagles dominated the Niners offense. Pass rush in Purdy's face. The injury happened because of the Niners' blocking incompetence.

Make plays or go home. It's not complicated, and not about Tua or the refs or whatever. The Eagles played better, give them respect and move on.

This is why the NFL is awesome. One incredible play by Haason Reddick and the game is basically over in the first half, congrats Eagles.

Your posts make no sense. Talk about an injury ending the game early being awesome then accuse the 49ers of not playing well enough.

Also, who isn't giving the Eagles respect? Talk about some random nonsense to make it seem like the other posters are being salty.

I said the same thing about Getsy when he tried it when playing PHI, it is incredibly stupid of Shanahan or any playcaller to expect a TE to block Reddick on an island if he actually didn't have a hot route or something to dump off immediately. Reddick give OTs hell, what TE is REALLY going to stand their ground with him? Its almost disrespectful.
