Yeah but also sadly this class of safeties frigging stinks and we need at least one.

We’re gonna have to spend some money on some vets free agency and I think Gutey has been alluding to it this off season

Very good time for Lassiter.

He was heavier then I thought he would be too. I'll take another look at his tape.

Kinchens with a 2.11 RAS.  Ouch!!!!!

I preferred Kinchens to Nubin mostly because of his (alleged) 40 time being faster, I saw him as being able to play single high. Now with such a slow 40 (and other poor testing), I have him as virtually undraftable (for the Packers).

I wouldn't trust PFF's mock draft tool to be all that useful at this stage.  It regularly has only 2 QBs going before 25, when we can be confident that there might be at least 4 gone with an outside shot at 5.

Fixed

There are always curveballs on draft day. Just let 'em happen.

Yep.  Every year, fans get worked up about players "falling" or GM's "reaching" while never accepting that the draft itself is the standard, not the pre-draft rankings. Remember when there was no chance Bulaga would be available at GB's spot?

Is this guy actually any good at football?

Yes, possibly even day 2. The Sanduskies didn’t use him correct. Could have a Tucker Kraft like season if developed/used that way. Willing blocker, underused as a receiver—doesn’t fight it. Kiper likes him a lot.

Slower than I expected. But there are a lot of good looking CB this year. I could see Hart being a position switch guy.

4.5 is plenty fast for a CB.   Couple bigger CB's - Jaylon Johnson ran a 4.5, Carlton Davis ran a 4.53.  Top CB in this class may be Arnold and he ran a 4.5.

Honestly at this point I'm struggling to find a position where I'm reasonably sure there will be value at 25...

Maybe a small handful of guys total and a few we probably will need to fall.

There will be plenty of very good players available at 25 and we will get one.

It would be hard to tell. Penn State's passing game looked like a throwback to the 1920's. That kid they had playing quarterback was possibly the worst division 1 quarterback I've ever seen.

3 round PFF draft this morning. No trades. Wouldn't be upset with this.

#41-Cooper            LB

#57-Sainristil          CB

#88-McCormick     IOL

#91-Puni                  IOL
