BEAR FACE DOWN ARROW Posted September 16, 2023 Share Posted September 16, 2023 (edited) Could really see a few ways this season goes: They win Sunday, get their heads right, Fields improves, the defense figures out a way to rush the passer, they get to like 8-9 and people are mildly optimistic about next year. They win Sunday or (hahaha) next week against the Chiefs, and pull out of the tailspin the Bears seem to be in, the schemes make more sense, players execute better and they limp to like 5-12 or something, explain how things improved (again) and roll it back next year. They go 0-4, 20-30 more guys are out/missing/fired with PR, and Poles or Warren ends up hiring some retired coach to run out the clock and they start over next year anew. Kind of torn. I don't want the Bears to pay a bum but if he's actually going through something significant then I'm not exactly relieved either, especially if he was still trying to be a good teammate.
