AFlaccoSeagulls Posted September 24, 2023 Share Posted September 24, 2023 So let's recap the 4th Q / OT of the Colts/Ravens game: Ravens force a safety which SHOULD HAVE essentially ended the game Zay Flowers, for some dumb reason, fair catches the punt which gives the Colts the 2-minute warning + 1 timeout. Ravens then chew 20 seconds of total clock, including a penalty on their 3rd down (which should have been offset by a facemask, but of course the referees didn't call it...), and give the ball back to Indy Colts hit a 40 yard pass to Pittman and then kick a 53-yard FG to go to OT. Justin Tucker misses a 61 yard FG after Lamar miraculously gets them into FG range after previously taking a sack to knock them out of FG range Ravens defense forces a 3 and out Duvernay returns the punt inside the Colts 50 Ravens gain 3 yards offense on 2 plays to Melvin Gordon, then Lamar misses a wide open Zay Flowers on a slant and the Ravens Colts can't convert on 4th and 1 Ravens get the ball back Isaiah Likely drops an easy 3rd down catch taht would've put us in FG range and extended the drive Referees miss the most blatant DPI I've ever seen on 4th down, giving Indy the ball back Zack Moss 20 yard run Matt Gay 54 yard FG.
