swede700
Took long enough...and I'm pretty sure Allen will be shown the door now that Jim Hickey and the Rays parted ways. I'm sure that's Molitors' target.
vikesfan89
Sounds like Allen was fired
The Gnat
For some reason yesterday I read Jim Hickey and Jim Hoey that terrible reliever that was traded for from Baltimore for JJ Hardy. But yes, Allen is out the door, a good move for the team in the long run. Allen wasn't bad, but there are better options out there for sure. swede700
Quote Former Gophers basketball standout Kevin Burleson will be an assistant coach for the Timberwolves' G League team in Des Moines, along with Ryan Marchand and Charlie Bell. http://www.startribune.com/former-gopher-kevin-burleson-named-assistant-coach-of-iowa-wolves/450797713/ They also signed some guy named Shawne Williams, who apparently they are going to waive tomorrow...they just signed him so they could get his G-League rights. Yup, that's going to be a thing many teams do a week before the season now. Wolves aren't the first and won't be the last.
MNPackfan32
Wild taking a page out of the Vikings/Packers book. Completely decimated by injuries. I think the most impactful injury is Nino Niederreiter. Excited to see Eriksson-Ek play as a top 6 forward. Excited to see Kunin. Sucks that they won't be playing center. The Gnat
Yeah, that is rough right now for the Wild. Nino is definitely the biggest loss at this point, though not having Parise and Granlund right now is huge because they are the better scorers on the team.
